Industrial Design deals with the design of the product basing on industry processes. Designing for the industry means to coordinate, integrate and articulate all of the factors involved: more specifically the ones relating to the use, enjoyment and individual consumption and those related to its production.
Through the design process, students develop research aimed at identifying new solutions to contemporary needs.
BRAND AND IDENTITY DESIGN
Design, graphics and communication are the visual elements of the brand which, together with the performance and the price of the product, determine the success of a company. The complexity of the issues related to branding study is dealt according to a "design-oriented" vision where product features, consumer behavior and aesthetics influence the choices to support and guide the growth of the brand.
DESIGN - ENGINEERING
The course covers all aspects of industrial production and its influence on the design process.
ADVANCED CAD AND RAPID PROTOTYPING
Aims of the course: dimensional exploration, evaluative prototyping, advanced modeling, ability to manage the 3D printing processes, Cad management Step-Stl-Iges files.
ITALIAN DESIGN HISTORY
The course intends to transfer the student mastery of historical research methodology with an evolutionary approach. The vantage point is the deepening of the reasons for the emergence of innovations.
COLOR AND MATERIALS DESIGN
Color is part of our lives and we are constantly influenced in everyday life, through its emotional, cultural and symbolic characteristics. Thanks to a theoretical and practical path, through experimentation, the student will discover the world of color.
Starting from a reflection on the urban environment and the natural elements and how they can be "inspirers" of artistic objects, students will have to develop their own project (which will be the study of one or more objects, installation, sculpture , chromatic intervention etc).
